Jefferson Healthcare offers a 7 week long Prepared Childbirth Education Series to expectant parents. Students will learn: The importance of self care; The process of childbirth; Comfort measures in pregnancy and childbirth, How to communicate with your birth partner; Breastfeeding and Newborn care; Community Resources.

For 2009 the classes start on: January 7, March 4, May 6, July 1, September 2, November 4.

To register parents should call the Family Birth Center at JHC at 360-385-2200 ext 3600. Cost for the Class is $100.00. Payment is accepted by check, cash or medical coupon from DSHS. All classes are located in the JHC auditorium.
