Pulmonary rehabilitation (rehab) is a multidisciplinary program that provides testing, therapy, emotional support, and education to stabilize or improve the consequences of lung disease. The program offers:

Who Should Participate?

Any patient with chronic lung disease and symptoms, such as

• frequent respiratory infections,
• fatigue,
• breathlessness, or
• increasing dependence on family and friends due to poor breathing.

What You Will Experience in Rehab

• You will meet with a pulmonary rehab specialist who will evaluate your medical records and goals and will schedule any necessary tests.
• You will attend an eight-week program of supervised exercise and education sessions.
• You will graduate from our program with improved endurance and a personalized health plan.

How to Get Started

Location/Directions

The pulmonary rehab program is located in the physical therapy gym on the first floor of the hospital, to the right of the lobby.
