For your convenience, our patient accounts representatives offer computerized and/or electronic billing to your primary, secondary, and tertiary insurances. You will receive an itemized bill of all services provided. Upon receipt of the final insurance payment on your account, you will be informed by letter of any self-pay balance related to your co-insurance and/or deductible.
Upon request, you may receive estimates of the costs of hospital services. Jefferson Healthcare offers charity care and a sliding-fee scale to self-pay patients requiring financial assistance. The financial services representative will provide you with information explaining the process to apply for either of these programs, along with his or her business card and the credit policy.
